November 16, 2020 - The Hattiesburg Public School District will transition to mobile ticketing for all Hattiesburg High and N.R. Burger Middle School Basketball and soccer games for the 2020-21 school year.
“We want to make sure we keep our players, fans, coaches and everyone attending safe,” said Hattiesburg High School Athletic Director Tony Vance. “We want to make sure we know exactly how many fans we have in attendance to remain in compliance with the Governor's Executive order that limits seating capacity to 25%.”
The district will use GoFan to sell digital tickets to the remaining playoff Football Games and the Hattiesburg High School and N.R. Burger Middle School basketball games.
“I think the cashless payment method is definitely the safest way for us to provide a great experience for our fans coming to our games,” said Vance. “Having a ticket on your device cuts out the thought of buying a ticket at the gate. This will save people the hassle of trying to buy tickets at the gate.”
Moving forward all athletic guidelines that were put into place at the beginning of the school year are expected to be followed. All fans must wear a mask upon entry into all athletic events. Individuals that refuse to adhere to the mask and social distancing guidelines will be asked to leave without a refund.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets each Monday prior to each game and paper tickets will NOT be sold at the gate.

At this time, Only MHSAA State Passes will be accepted at all athletic events. The athletic department has suspended free admittance for the City of Hattiesburg employees, HPSD employees and Military personnel, reserved season tickets and all sports passes for the 2020-2021 school year.
